Bearfruit Films is a privately owned production company that develops and produces high quality feature-length motion pictures that bring redemptive stories to life. We produce 2-3 feature films each year, which fill the market niche for genre films. We make films that are creative and unpredictable with integrity in presentation. There are scores of talented cast and crew who enjoy working with us.
The creative and goal-driven achiever has produced in a variety of roles, inside the arts, in business ventures and also in non-profits. He went into full-time ministry at 21 years old and grew and directed a new ministry into a flourishing ministry of over 200 kids and 30 adult volunteers. Within the ministry, he’s directed music videos, written, directed and acted in live skits and plays. He had small roles in commercials and television shows. He left full-time ministry and went into the marketplace as the director of business development for a tech start-up. He was recruited to run a global e-commerce business and helped scores of small business owners grow their business. As a consultant, recruiter, promoter, team buider… he found his calling as a redemptive film producer. His strong desire, “to get people talking about God and things of God” led him to co-founding Bearfruit Films. He was the Executive Producer on “Rumors of Wars”, “Little Savages” and “The Griddle House”.
Actress, producer, model & inspirational speaker Shannen Fields realized her dreams in her feature film debut, “Facing the Giants.” In 2009 she traveled to Australia to film “Suing the Devil” alongside Malcolm McDowell, gaining experiences and memories to carry for a lifetime. Shannen has also worked on additional feature films such as “Rumors of Wars”, “My Name is Paul”, “Let the Lion Roar”, “Love Covers All”, “Adopted” and many others. Most recently Shannen joined the team at Bearfruit Films as Co-Executive Producer of the heartwarming redemption family drama “The Griddle House” where she also plays the role of Grace. In addition to her love for acting and producing, Shannen has a heartfelt passion for speaking into the lives of women of all ages as an inspirational speaker for churches, schools, womens’ and young girls’ events. She also serves as the Atlanta Director for Advantage Models and Talent.
Nise Davies is a former ‘Miss Tennessee USA’ international fashion model and an actress with roles in over 50 television commercials. As founder of Advantage Models & Talent in 1987 Nise Davies has trained and launched the careers of hundreds of talent over the past 25 years. Most recently, she booked 5 actors in the nationally acclaimed film, ‘Courageous’ including one co-lead actor. She continues to serve as lead instructor for the Professional Modeling Course at Advantage and as mentor to the Advantage Team. Nise is Co-Chair for Actors Models & Talent for Christ, Talk Show Host & National Vice and has a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism.
Sean C. Stephens
Sean has extensive experience in both the operations and film industries. He has spearheaded production on two feature films helping both writing and producing duties. His grass roots attitude and business acumen will serve as another powerful tool in working with local film offices and recruiting experts to ensure that maximum profits are realized. He was the Associate Producer on ‘Rumors of Wars’ and instrumental in production finance and Film Tax Incentive. In recent years, Sean’s skills as a manager and business analyst have earned him an executive position with one of the nation’s largest insurance companies. He holds a BA from Arizona State University.
Sean is an expert in creating graphics that help individuals, businesses and organizations build relationships with their clients. His artwork was displayed at an art exhibition in Laguna Beach and was one of twenty awarded Honorable Mention out of 4,500 artists. He studied at California State University, Long Beach where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree.
