The Griddle House

Family Is Where The Heart Is

Our future films include the adaptation of a best-selling book about a man who finds his dream while on an international vacation from the stale life he made for himself. We’re also in the early stages of developing various scripts for the year to come.

“The Griddle House” is a charming 24-hour neighborhood diner that serves up comfort food for the body and the soul. Originally a highly acclaimed play, this warm, coming-of-age holiday film will appeal to a large and diverse audience base.

The story follows the twists and turns of teenager Jack Benson who lands at The Griddle House in 1995. Jack is on the hunt for his birth mother, after a doozy of an argument with his “real” folks. He discovers a note written by his birth mother and learns she is a regular at the near-by Griddle House.

Armed with a list of questions, he is certain he will find the woman who “birthed him.” As his investigation progresses he encounters a diner- full of wacky and wonderful people, and ultimately, encounters himself. With a charming cast of quirky and relatable characters, “The Griddle House” reminds us that home and family can be discovered and re-discovered in the most unusual of places.
